A Harvard Business School grad with a master's in business administration and a magna cum laude degree in economics may not be the household name that Bill Gates is, but Tracy Palandjian is.

The 51-year-old Hong Kong native and Harvard Business School graduate is the CEO and co-founder of Social Finance, a nonprofit that aims to mobilize private capital to address social and environmental challenges, per Forbes.

Palandjian's main source of income is her salary and stock options as an independent director of Affiliated Managers Group, a global asset management company.

She's also a board member of several institutions, including the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, the Surdna Foundation, and the Harvard Board of Overseers.

Her net worth is estimated to be at least $1.83 million as of 2023, though she may have other sources of income or assets that are not publicly disclosed, Forbes notes.

Palandjian was born in Hong Kong and moved to the US for college, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics in 1993, per Business Insider.
